Leadership Intensive

Leadership Intensive is a weekend residential programme for women in music facilitated by Remi Harris MBE and Tamara Gal-On, the co-founders of Music Leaders Network. The programme is designed to help participants to make progress with their music project, business or career, and is aimed at people who are working at a professional level in any aspect of music within their own music city and would be able to sustain this more with personal and professional development. A participant could be a community organiser in their music scene, a manager, promoter, festival producer or music creator, owner of a small business that supplies the music industry or similar. This programme will be hosted in our host city Belfast City of Music on 27th and 28th September 2025.

Content includes:

  • Self-Awareness (using the DISC behavioural profiling tool)

  • Planning your Business/Career Goals

  • Relationship Building Globally using Visibility and Networking

  • Mindset and Longevity to Sustain your Work

Participants (max. 12) are by selection-only and will be a mix of nationalities. The value in these international experiences is to build bonds and relationships with other participants. There will also be opportunities to network with the music community in the host city and get a taste of the music culture there. There will be training and group work, and a limited amount of preparation work will be required. The training will be hosted in English.

Module costs will cover orientation meeting, two day training programme, cultural and network building programme, post-event support for participants, per diems and accomodation in the host city.

Participants (either directly or via arrangement with the respective City of Music office) are responsible for travel and transfer costs to host city Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Music Leaders Network is a transformative leadership programme for women and non-binary people in the music industry.  Alumni include employees from Fuga, Polydor, BMG, September Management, PPL, PRS For Music, AIM Ireland and Blue Raincoat Music, as well as freelance music creators and business owners.
